You are assured of a warm welcome at The Metropole in keeping with the traditions of its' Founder, whose Great, Great Grandson Justin Baird-Murray, now runs the Hotel.
Each of our comfortable 122 bedrooms has ensuite bathroom and shower, colour television, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. All floors are served by lifts at the front and rear of the Hotel.
The Hotel's Victorian grandeur is complemented by a superb indoor Leisure Complex in a Victorian style conservatory. Facilities include a 54ft heated swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, beauty salon and exercise machines.
Our Head Chef, Nick Davies, a member of the Welsh Culinary Team uses only the finest local ingredients and has established an excellent reputation for his traditional cuisine served in the elegant surroundings of the Radnor Restaurant. Equally enjoyable is the more informal atmosphere of Spencers Bar & Pantry. Ideal surroundings for relaxing and enjoying a drink or bar snack.
The Metropole's purpose built conference facilities make the Hotel Mid Wales' premier conference and banqueting venue. Meetings and conferences from 6 to 300 can be comfortably accommodated in one of our 14 meeting rooms and our professional team can provide modern audio and visual equipment to assist in the successful organisation of your conference.
The Spa town of Llandrindod Wells continues to surprise visitors with a wealth of attractions. Amongst these are superb indoor and outdoor bowling greens, an invigorating 18 hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts, Boating, Pony Trekking, Walking and Fishing.
